In my trip to Cambodia I closely examined worldwide issues and questioned what my actions mean in the real world scenarioWorking with the NGO, Opportunities for Development thru Art (ODA), the teaching of English... and hygiene to poor children was a direct answer to the global problem of unequal access to education and health care services in Cambodia. In order for them to be able to improve their hygiene, by giving them these most basic tools that they may not have been taught. The creation of a playground out of used tires was not just an ecologically sustainable alternative but it also provided an innovative manner through which physical as well as social growth could be promoted even in resource limited settings.
